Overview:

This is a manual semi-insert magnetic card reader with a TTL interface. It is usually used in authentication, access control, attendance management and other occasions. The reader consists of two parts: one is a handheld part and the other is a fixed part. The hand-held part is usually a plastic box, which houses components such as magnetic heads, motors, and mechanical transmissions for reading magnetic card information. The fixed part is usually a chassis, which is used to support the handheld part and provide power and communication interfaces. The working principle of the manual half-insert magnetic card reader is that when the magnetic card is half-inserted into the reader, the magnetic head will pass through the magnetic layer on the surface of the magnetic card to read the information in the magnetic card. The reader uses a motor to drive the magnetic head to move on the surface of the magnetic card to read information on multiple tracks. A TTL interface is an interface used to communicate with a computer or other device. Via the TTL interface, the reader can send data to and receive data from the computer.
